About Me
Hello! I'm Minah (pronounced "Mena").
I'm a communications leader and brand builder in New York. My work is grounded in social architecture: designing the physical, digital, and organizational spaces that bring people together around a shared purpose. I'm at my best when building new brand ecosystems, shaping cultural and creator conversations around them, and turning nuanced, technical ideas into work that people actually feel.
Most recently, I led communications and brand for Clocks and Architecture c/o Virgil Abloh, the creative studio and think-tank-in-residence at Nike, and for the Virgil Abloh Archive and Foundation. Before that, the Theaster Gates Studio and Rebuild Foundation, the Prada Dorchester Industries Experimental Design Lab, the Inter IKEA Foundation's re:arc institute, and Newlab. Across an artist's community development platform, a climate design institute, and a deep-tech venture, I have helped cultivate community through storytelling, creator relationships, and intentional ways of convening across formats, from social-first stories and podcasts to editorial platforms, print, and events.
Earlier, at Gia Kuan Consulting, I built narrative, media relations, and brand strategy for clients who went on to receive TIME100 Next, CFDA, and LVMH honors. I started out at SOP, an AI urban-planning startup, and at New Story, the housing startup behind the world's first community of 3D-printed homes.
I studied social psychology and architecture at Mount Holyoke, with further studies at UC Berkeley: College of Environmental Design and UCL: Bartlett School of Architecture, and researched perception and belonging at Harvard's Sidanius Lab.
In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, doing hot yoga, and going to the beach.
